During a heat wave the summer of 2025. One too many sleepless nights and just enough redness on my skin, officially drove me crazy. I decided I wanted to paint the kind of discomfort I was feeling. Sticking with bright and intense colors, I wanted to create that an almost painful contrast when I stacked them on top of one another. In another form of extreme contrast I also painted with the shade of bright blue I wished I could take a cool relaxing swim in.
